Hello,
Storm Alwyn played havoc with many people’s plans this weekend. I even cancelled our Nordic Walking session which is very unusual. The Leyland Christmas Festival has been postponed until next Saturday but they were able to have a delightful Friday Christmas Tree lights switch on with a brass band and carole singing. It was lovely but freezing!


Just two weeks left of classes before our Christmas break.
For your diary: Last class Saturday 11 December – classes start again Wednesday 5 January.

Christmas stocking fillers for the local MS Society

I have two amazing class members who have been busy making lovely warm winter Headbands and more Teddies. Thank you Judith and Lynne! They are £5 each and all money collected goes to the local MS Society.
 
New start location for Wednesday 3pm Nordic Walking
We will start from Town Brow on Sheep Hill Lane until Christmas so we can explore the other side of Cuerden Valley towards Kem Mill. Explore the park – Cuerden Valley Park

New start time for Thursday Wellbeing Walk to 3.30pm on Worden Park
We are going to start at 3.30pm due to it getting darker earlier.

MS and Seated Pilates on Zoom 
If you know anyone who has MS and would like to join our Zoom Seated Pilates class on Wednesdays at 1.30pm please ask them to email chorley@mssociety.org.uk for a link to join us. This is great for anyone who finds it difficult to get out of the house – you just need internet access.
