I can’t believe it is October and I am finalising the plans for Christmas. As promised there will be a Christmas lunch in Leyland which is going to be at La Corte- the old Police Station. For people who are working during the day we will plan something for an evening nearer the time.

For the people who would like to come to this event please could you put £12 in an envelope with your name and telephone number and email on the front. I will have the menus in class for you to make your choice to put on the envelope too.

For all the people who have paid their £5 deposit could you pay the balance of £21 by putting it in an envelope with your name on and write on the outside of the envelope your choice of main and pudding- see below:

Tuesday morning 11.30am and Thursday 3.30pm Nordic Walking Well Being change of start location.
The start point for these walks is back on Worden Park main car park from Tuesday 8 October.
Thursday 6pm Nordic Walking change of start location from Thursday 17 October.
The start point for this group will change to Tesco’s Extra car park from Thursday 17 October due to the park closure and the darkness.

Our new venue for Saturday Morning Pilates 9am
We are now using the Orthodox Church of Holy Apostles Hall 403 Leyland Lane PR25 1TA. This is proving to be a lovely venue for Pilates.
