Look what we did! Bank Holiday Monday 27th May. Get Inspired!

Wow look what we did!
Our first ever DO Fitness charity event “Dance for Derian House and Remember Ross” went fantastically and was great fun and we raised just over £700. Thank you to all you lovely generous people who gave your time and money to make it such a success. Thanks you to the teachers Mark Gill from Blackburn, Hannah Dixon and Ann Smith for fab Zumba and Julie Horner-Kurcharski for the Belly Dancing. Thanks to the dance team who had worked on a surprise dance for me – you were fabulous. Thanks to Karen for all her hard work and Rachel for suberb choreography. Thanks to Christine and Maraget who came early to help.

I was talking to a friend recently who was worried about her mum. Because her mum doesn’t exercise and has gained alot of weight she finds it hard to walk up the street without getting out of breath. Her mum is in her late 40s.I look round my classes and see women in their 60s and 70s doing Zumba, Pilates and Fitness Fusion – apart from having a lot of fun and making new friends and meeting up with old friends they are getting the following:
Reduced risk of – Diabetes, Stroke, Cardiovascular disease, high blood pressure and obesity -that’s not bad to name just a few benefits of exercise.

Thanks to these women in my classes for being an inspiration!
