Hello,
It has always been my goal to have an exercise class that suits everyone, regardless of their fitness level. That is particularly why chair-based classes came about. Chair-based classes can be used for fitness improvement, maintenance, prehabilitation and rehabilitation. It is also fun and sociable. If you know someone who struggles to remain standing for an hour, is waiting for hip or knee replacements or any other reason, but wishes to exercise, point them in our direction.
Zoom chair-based classes for people with MS or other Neurological conditions
If you know anyone with MS or another neurological condition, and they would like to exercise from home, please ask them to get in touch with me for the link. The amazing local MS Society provides these classes for free. I teach them on Wednesdays and Fridays at lunchtime. There are also face-to-face classes twice a month and Aqua weekly.
No Do Fitness classes 16 – 20 February
I am taking that week off to catch up with some studies I am doing and to go on a course in Brighton with a Neuro-Physio from New Zealand, who specialises in exercise for people with MS (Multiple Sclerosis). As some of you know, I also teach for the local MS Society, and I am always trying to extend my knowledge of exercise for people with this condition. (I was diagnosed with it in 2016.)
