Pelvic Floor Seminar – with inspirational presenter Cherry Baker

Join us on Friday 9th February at Wellington Park Leyland 7-10pm
1 in 3 women and 1 in 10 men have problems with their pelvic floor.

Cherry sets out to tackle this under reported and often taboo subject with evidence, information and a big dose of humour to answer the questions about your Pelvic Floor:
What is it and where is it?
How does it work?
What do I do if it doesn’t work?
How do I make it work better?

“I cannot imagine anyone was not entertained and informed by Cherry. She was brilliant. Who would think the pelvic floor could raise so much laughter whilst educating!”
tickets cost £25 either from class or by Paypal to diane@dofitness.org.

Pelvic Floors, Friday afternoon venue change 1 week only and why do Pilates.

Everybody has a pelvic floor, don’t let yours become a problem. International presenter Cherry Baker sets out to tackle these under-reported often taboo subjects with evidence, information and a dose of humour. Pelvic floor issues can affect men, women, fighter pilots, older adults, weight lifters, the obese, athletes, new mums, those who squat and those who do not. Cherry is very funny too and a little risqué! There will be a bar open  for us to make into a social event.
Tickets now available in class £25 for class members and their friends and family. (If you can’t get to class you can pay by Paypal to diane@dofitness.org)

Venue Change Friday afternoon classes 26th January- 1 week only.
We are using Prospect House, Sandy Lane Leyland PR25 2EE on Friday afternoon 26th January for Fitness 55+ at 1.30pm and Seated Pilates at 2.15pm. There is an event on at St Andrews Church Hall.

Why do Pilates?
There are so many reasons but here I thought I would just give you a short list:
-Boosts bone density- very important as we get older with the increased risk of osteoporosis
– Keeps you steady on your feet- it has been shown that regular Pilates improves balance
-Soothes sore backs
-Reduces high blood pressure
-Improves posture
-Reduces stress

As some of you know when I was first diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis after a major relapse my physio  said Pilates was the best thing to do to help my recovery – and seems to have worked!!
