Pelvic Floors, Seated Pilates and New Wednesday Afternoon Pilates

Pelvic Floors
1 in 3 women and 1 in 10 men have a problem with their pelvic floors. Talking to my friends I suspect it might be a little higher than that in terms of mild problems. I went to a fantastic seminar last  weekend called Up tight and Outta Sight with Cherry Baker who is a specialist in pelvic floor exercise. The things I do for you! It was very funny and informative. Educational stand up comedy. I am going to invite Cherry over to Leyland for one of her seminars. It is a little risqué. I have sent a clip of a starter Pelvic floor exercise but  this is Cherry being well behaved..

Over the years I have seen the need for a Seated Pilates class. For some people getting up and down of the floor is uncomfortable or they feel nauseous exercising on the floor.  The new class in going to be at St Ambrose Church Hall Moss Lane Leyland PR254XA from next Wednesday  15th March at 1.30pm.

St Ambrose Church Hall Moss Lane Leyland PR254XA.

Sod Sitting Get Moving: Getting Active into 60s 70s and Beyond – a new book by Diana Moran.
On the way to work last Monday I caught a bit of an interview with Diana Moran the green goddess. Some of you will remember her. She seems to still be wearing green. She was talking about being as active as possible as we get older and how that is seen as ‘the miracle cure’. Here is an interview with her on Loose Women.
