Week beginning 7 October

Hello,
I often get people start coming to class when they have been told they are pre-diabetic (type 2) – it often comes as a shock and they want to do something about it. The good news is you can reverse it and get your blood sugar readings back into the normal range if you change your diet, watch your weight, and get more active.

A class member raising funds for Rosemere Cancer Centre
Our lovely class member Graham has been raising money for Rosemere Cancer Centre after his successful treatment for cancer there. Here is his story:

A few weeks ago I shared with you that my cancer treatment at Rosemere Cancer Centre at Preston Royal Hospital had been completed. I have now had a review confirming that the treatment has been successful and I will now be monitored for many years with medication to minimise the possibility of the return of the problem.
Now once more I would like to encourage all my Facebook friends to act on any suspicions you may have and take advantage of available testing. Early diagnosis and treatment is the key ….. Fortunately it has worked for me.
In the meantime since May I have continued to do my 10000 steps a day whilst at the same time raising funds for The Rosemere Cancer Foundation who do tremendous work to support those living with cancer and their loved ones ….. Please consider a donation to my Justgiving page
