Week beginning 27 June, 5 tips to lower Cholesterol and Friday evening walks


When I took a big risk of leaving Higher Education to work in the fitness industry my daughter was just a baby and now she has just left school (and had her Prom.) It was a risk in a number of ways but job satisfaction is enormous and made amazing by the people you get to know. So thank you for making that journey such a pleasure.

Zumbathons in August
I will be taking part in two Zumbathons in early August. One is to raise funds for the MS Society is in Penwortham and the other for the East Lancashire Hospice is in Houghton. I will give you more details nearer the time.

Friday evening summer walks – open to all
Our Friday evening summer walks are open to non-Nordic Walkers too now. We do walk at reasonable pace with some hill climbs on certain walks.

Starter Circuits has begun again Fridays at 1.15pm at Prospect House
Many people had asked for Starter Circuits to come back. This class is on Fridays at 1.15pm. It is a 45 minute class working on strength, balance and cardio-vascular fitness for people who want to start getting fit again after a break from exercise.

Cancelling a class
Please do this on Gymcatch before the start of the class. Gymcatch will then give you a class credit automatically. If you need to contact me while I am teaching please send me a text and I will phone you after I have finished teaching.
