Nordic Walking changes, Worden Hall, the Mountains of Turkey and Saturday morning Pilates.

Tuesday morning 11.30am and Thursday 3.30pm Nordic Walking change of start location.
Due to the closure of the overflow carpark on Worden Park we are going to meet at the main Tesco’s carpark near the Age Concern shop for weekday walks. There will be too many Runshaw students during the weekday battling for parking. Saturday and Thursday 6pm will still meet on the Worden Park Carpark.

Worden Hall
Many people in my classes use Worden Park  and appreciate what a fantastic space it is for our health and wellbeing. Some people in my classes even volunteer in the group Friends of Worden Park to help keeping the green space looking great so I thought it would be important for people to know about the consultation that has been going on about Worden Hall. The council is asking for everyone’s views about how to use this historic space – for more information go to:

To see the hall and the space that is available got to this video clip:

The Mountains of Turkey – no classes Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 17-20 September apart from Zumba Gold.
As some of you know I go to the mountains of Turkey to a retreat. This has been really helpful for my MS when I have been before. I have started to fall again – which is a bit nerve wracking- so it is time to go back! Zumba Gold classes will still be on with the wonderful Ann Smith.

Our new venue for Saturday Morning Pilates 9am
We are now using the Orthodox Church  of Holy Apostles Hall 403 Leyland Lane PR25 1TA. This is proving to be a lovely venue for Pilates.

See you soon.
