Happy new month! As a family we are starting to look forward to our summer holiday in Northumberland. We haven’t been to the area before so looking forward to seeing new places. There will be no Do Fitness classes from Monday 31 July until classes start again Monday 14 August.

Exercise and heat
It looks like the weather has cooled down now so it will be a more comfortable temperature to exercise again. Our classes change a bit during the high temperatures with more breaks and more reminders to keep hydrated. How to exercise safely in the heat (bupa.co.uk)
Starter Circuits Fridays 1.15pm and Nordic Walking Wellbeing Thursdays 3.30pm stopping for summer
We will look at starting these again at the end of the summer. Lots of other options on the timetable for the time being for you to choose from.
Friday evening (Nordic) Walks
Friday evening walks have started again. People can come along with or without nordic walking poles to make the most of the summer evenings. We will explore places like White Coppice and Brinscall. Pilates on Zoom Tuesdays 7pm (apart from first Tuesday of the month)
Trying to fit exercise into our day can be challenging especially if you are working full time. I know for some people a Zoom Pilates class might be a lot more convenient. Every Tuesday except first Tuesday of the Month. Classes can be booked on Gymcatch.
Lost Farms of Brinscall Moor guided walks
The walks start from Lodge Bank Brinscall. Should be interesting if you are interested in local history. There are 2 walks on 13 and 20 August.

Stamps
Christine T. is still collecting used stamps for RNIB to help raise funds for people who are affected by sight loss. If you bring them into class I will forward them to her. RNIB – See differently Thank you Christine for doing this and thank you for everyone who has brought stamps into class!
