Hello,
May is National Walking Month and it is a good time to be getting out as the weather has improved. Walking for just 20 minutes a day can be life-changing. Walking for health – NHS (www.nhs.uk).
Nordic Walking is a great way to walk and has additional benefits BBC Radio 4 – Just One Thing – with Michael Mosley, Nordic Walking My Nordic Walking groups have continued without me which is wonderful. I still can’t keep up the pace to join them yet due to my hip replacement but if anybody wants to do Nordic Walking Technique training I am still doing that with a session next Saturday 11 May.

Thursday Zumba 6.30pm starts again 16 May
Friday morning classes start again on 17 May with 9.30am Zumba, 10.30am Pilates and 11.30am Zumba Gold.
Pink Martini and me
Last Monday I went to see the band Pink Martini at Bridgewater Hall with my friend (who has had 2 hip replacements). They played my favourite song which we are using in Zumba Gold – see if you can spot me (6) Facebook

Stamps
We are collecting used stamps for RNIB to help raise funds for people who are affected by sight loss. If you bring them into class I will forward them to her. RNIB – See differently Thank you Christine for doing this and thank you for everyone who has brought stamps into class!
